Freemasonry is the world’s oldest fraternal organization that has been in existence for centuries. While its origins can be traced back to the stonemasons and builders of medieval times, the principles of Freemasonry continue to influence the lives of millions of men worldwide.

What is Freemasonry

reemasonry is a fraternal organization that is known to be the oldest of its kind in the world. It has a rich history that can be traced back to the stonemasons and cathedral builders of Medieval times, but it continues to be an influential force in the daily lives of millions of men worldwide.

The values of Freemasonry are passed down through a series of degrees and ceremonies that have been designed to make good men better. These degrees provide a framework for living that is based on the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. They have a timeless quality that has influenced every aspect of modern life.

Every year, thousands of men from all corners of America and the world join Freemasonry. These men are characterized by their honor, integrity, charity, and sense of obligation. They are individuals who have made a vow to become the best versions of themselves, to rise above the ordinary and to embody the virtues of Freemasonry. To them, being a Mason is more than just a title; it is a way of life.

Who We Are

At the core of Freemasonry lies a timeless set of principles that are based on Brotherly love, relief, and truth. When a man takes the obligation to uphold these principles, he becomes a Freemason. But this is just the beginning of what it means to be a part of this historic organization.

Being a Freemason means dedicating oneself to personal and communal betterment. Through the solemn vow to help and mentor fellow Masonic Brothers, Freemasons strive to uplift each other and their communities. It is a calling to be part of something bigger than oneself, with a deep respect for history, a compassionate heart, and a commitment to creating a brighter future.

The path to becoming a Master Mason involves progressing through the three degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason. This journey varies in length for each individual, with some men achieving the rank of Master Mason within months while others may take years. Nonetheless, once a man takes his first obligation as an Entered Apprentice, he becomes a Freemason for life.
